My movies of the year 2015
Hier also meine eigentliche Top Ten:
1. Mad Max Fury Road
Not many words need to be said about George Miller's masterpiece. Surprisingly good. Miller shows all the young action directors in Hollywood where the hammer hangs.

2. Star Wars - Episode VII - The Force Awakens
Despite its weaknesses, TFA is one of the films of the year for me. Main reason: redemption. Even if George Lucas disagrees with Roland Barthes. The text "Star Wars" is bigger than the imagination of its author George Lucas. Director Abrams and screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan understood that. At last, the saga can be continued in a meaningful way.

3. Alles steht Kopf
What a fantastic film! Pixar has once again outdone itself and lets us into the tangled emotional world of an 11-year-old.

4. Der Marsianer - Rettet Mark Watney
Even self-published books that don't follow the erotic novel trend can be made into movies. The science fiction novel by Andy Weir is the proof. Ridley Scott's restrained and therefore worthwhile filming.
5. Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation
Even with Tom Cruise in it. Mission is the better James Bond of the year. Rebecca Ferguson is the discovery of the year. That's the way to go, Mr. Bond.
6. Ant-Man
One of my favorite movies of the year. And for me, the Marvel movie of the year. Unlike the overstuffed plot of Avengers Age of Ultron, Ant-Man continues the Marvel quality that Guardians of the Galaxy has achieved.
7. Ex Machina
As an author who writes about artificial intelligence and robots, a pleasure. Brilliant directorial debut by screenwriter Alex Garland.
8. Kingsman - Secret Service
For me, one of the surprises of the year and proof that political satire can come in action comedy form.
9. Bridge Of Spies
Also a surprise: Spielberg can still make good movies. Beautifully suspenseful film with a commanding Hanks and a fantastic Mark Rylance.
10. It Follows
What a successful film! Director and screenwriter David Robert Mitchell creates a classic of the horror genre with just a few strokes.
