Seeing the future

In the upcoming edition of our podcast Appel & Ei, I talk with Tim Krauss about Google Glass, among other things. In the show, I also mention a short film I made in 1997 about virtual reality called "view." Google's data glasses will expand our perception of the world in much the same way that the smartphone has already done. No more, but also no less. The only thing I found creepy is that my design of a screen plus add-on device is strikingly similar to the design of Google Glass. I know, of course, form follows function. But still, I find it a little creepy when things I've thought up come true a few years later.
