»I'm not an empty seat, anymore!«

Today the author contract from the publisher arrived. Really a good feeling, when between bills and reminders something different is in the mailbox ;-)The last few days I have tried to digest my 'success' a bit.

Today I toasted with Esther and Philipp, two of my good friends and brave first readers of my writing, with a good meal and wine and a sparkling wine. Philipp, whose doctoral thesis In Search of the Perpetrator has just been published by the renowned Campus-Verlag, unfortunately won our little bet as to which of us would be the first to 'come out'.Instead, the next time we have movie nights, there will be a Hitchcock of his choice to watch. Today we had 'Spiderman 2', because my alter ego, Peter Parker fights in this movie not only against super villains, but also for his rent, the possibility to support his family and of course the heart of a woman. Things with which certainly not only the breadless author Christian Heinke can identify ;-) .
